Michigan State Sig Rho History
On December 10, 2006, Sigma Beta Rho Multicultural Fraternity Incorporated was established at Michigan State University. These four strong men who established Sigma Beta Rho in East Lansing dreamed of establishing Fraternity which was blind of race, religion, or ethnicity: A brotherhood beyond all barriers. An organization that could bring together a network of respected leaders who otherwise would not be connected. Upon the three pillars of Society, Brotherhood, and Remembrance, the Michigan State University Colony has rapidly grown into a culturally diverse family, with brothers representing a multitude of nations, ethnicity, and religions. Our brothers aspire to give back to the community while recognizing and appreciating the vast array of cultures around them. Together, we remember that brotherhood is not about what one can do for another; rather it is about accomplishing more together than either person
could alone.
